FutureProof initially began life as the FutureProof Foundation in 2006 – an award-winning grassroots movement for gender equality and social change in the City of Westminster. The main activities of the FutureProof Foundation was providing free mentoring, training and event services to students and unemployed women around entrepreneurship and applying for job roles.
In September 2017, with the help of Cambridge Judge Business School we decided to pivot the work of the FutureProof Foundation to create FutureProof – a consulting company to help corporations close their gender pay gap. Since January 2018, FutureProof has been providing consulting, training and coaching services to prestigious corporations such as BNP Paribas Bank, Strutt & Parker Real Estate, and The Mayor of London.
In May 2018, FutureProof was named one of 30 ChangeMaking companies to watch by the Ambassadors of London Tech Week who include Eileen Burbidge, a partner at Monzo backer Passion Capital and member of the Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Group, Sarah Wood, co-founder and chief executive of video advertising marketplace Unruly, founder of business group Tech London Advocates Russ Shaw and president of industry body TechUK Jacqueline de Rojas. In September 2018, we created the Cambridge University Female Entrepreneurs society - a movement to help increase student female entrepreneurship.
In March 2019, we decided to focus exclusively on building scaleable products and services out of Cambridge University in line with our mission of creating a gender equal world .
